The Loo Review

Overall the bathroom was clean, and easily useable. There were enough stalls and sinks. Also the stalls were roomy enough to be comfortable. It could have used a sweeping, but even that wasn't bad.

The bathroom is really not DIRTY per se. You do not see grime all over the place. And I have never noticed anyone who had "done their business" on the seat. However, there are issues.

well, as the picture i hope to upload shows - in india (and many other regions throughout the world) they use "squatty pottys" wherein, it's like you're in the woods going in a little hole in the ground, but rather, it's a nice porcelain hole... in a tile floor.  you pull your pants to your ankles, squat like a small child looking at rocks, and just enjoy the experience.

This is certainly the best private bathroom I've seen in a long time. We actually have fond memories. A little over a year ago I was passed out on the floor for about an hour while my girlfriend put my head on her lap and was making sure I wasn't going to hurl again. I think that's the last time I did too. Ok, anyway, back to the review:

Welcome! This site used to exist a few years ago but was abandoned by it's creator. A new interest and a little bit of laziness has driven this site to be reopened and it's code redone from scratch (by the drupal.org community, thank you.) Register if you want. It's a nice restroom for a nice chain store. What I first noticed was the toilet paper holder. It's simple but nice looking. You can check it out in the pictures. The TP was soft for being two ply. I am usually a fan of soft music in the bathroom but the music here was kind of loud and annoying. It was pop song that I can't remember now.

The floor was a little sticky but otherwise clean. My sense of smell is not that great but I didn't like the soap at all.

They may have perfected the Whopper but restrooms are a different story. The smell was horrendous and I don't think it was from who was in there last. It smeeled like someone pissed all over the floor, someone moped it up with paper towels, and never gave the floor a good scrub. This one is in serious need of an air freshner. On the plus side the toilet paper was soft. I found this out because I had to blow my nose. I wouldn't have been able to use anything resembling a tissue because they have an air dryer. That's one reason why I hate air dryers.

This is the BEST Starbucks restroom that I've been to in a while. When I walked in the automatic light turned on before I could even think to find a light switch. Most times the light is already on or I have to fiddle with the switch to get it to work. That's a big A+ in my book. The room smelled like nothing. No air freshener, no remnants of the previous user. Absolutely nothing! It is so tough for a restroom to achieve something like this. I don't know if I was lucky or of the air freshener is magical, but it's good.

Wegmans is a very nice supermarket with a semi-ok restroom. They really do try to make it a nice place and I give them an A for effort. They have a good policy of cleaning the restroom once an hour. and post it on the door. For some reason there was paper everywhere on the floor and that hurt the cleanliness score for them.

The look and feel of the restroom is awesome. The nice brown tiles and stall doors give the restroom an earthy feel. There is a chair just hanging out by the stalls. I always get weirded out by chairs in bathrooms but I guess this one is ok.

It's a nice bathroom marred by a few technical issues. It's very clean and I'm very happy to see another mall have full blown walls inbetween the stalls. There wasn't a lot of space but it was comfortable. The toilet paper was seethru but the automatic toilet made up for that.
